Zero Waste Plant – Pisang

A late harvest and post. We have several kind of banana tree in our frontyard, backyard and banana circle. We usually left the bananas on the tree to be ripening but not for this banana because they are too huge. We plant a local garlic, small in size but have a powerfull fragrance. Because it was tiny, we dont have to peel it.

Awalnya kami khawatir karena memiliki terlalu banyak pohon pisang, ternyata rekan-rekan kami hobi makan pisang jadi it was worth it. Selain kami santap segar, kami juga mengiris pisang matang dan memasukkannya ke dehidrator jadilah pisang sale atau keripik pisang (depends on how thin the slices are). Kami tidak membuang kulitnya, kalau panen pidang kepok kulitnya kami olah menjadi cuka. Kalau pisang biasa, kulitnya jadi makanan camilan para hewan. Dari belasan pohon pisang yang sudah ada, kami berniat hunting varietas pisang lain. Hidup pisang.
